Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make MacKay Vision Center, LLC the leading provider of vision care products and services in Bedford.

Dr. David MacKay

Dr. David P. MacKay has been practicing optometry in Bedford, New Hampshire since 1995. He is a 1992 graduate, cum laude, from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. MacKay received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1987.

Prior to practicing in Bedford, Dr. MacKay was the Chief of Optometry for the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. In addition to providing routine eyecare to soldiers and their families, he received vast experience in treating eye injuries, eye infections during morning “sick-call” clinic and by providing emergency room coverage at the Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. Fort Campbell was one of the primary sites for the contact lens aviation program, thus enabling Dr. MacKay to hone his contact lens skills by working with pilots and flight crew.


Dr. Eva Fung, OD

Dr. Fung received her Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Smith College in Northampton, MA. Following her undergraduate studies, she completed her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston. She had extensive clinical training in prestigious area healthcare facilities including the New England College of Optometry Center for Eye Care, VA Baltimore Clinic, Martha Eliot Health Center and Dorchester House Health Center.

Dr. Fung provides primary optometric care to children, adolescents, and adults. Her clinical interest is in the area of contact lens examinations and fittings, eye emergencies, dry eye, refractive surgery pre- and post-operative care, cataract surgery pre- and post-operative care.

Dr. Fung is fluent in Mandarin.

In her spare time, she enjoys taking nature walks, reading, and exploring the Granite State with her family.
